Architect, RF Engineer

We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated person to join our Advanced Engineering design team. The candidate will join a dynamic team and will be involved in a variety of activities such as:

• Designing state of the art telecommunication products.
• Test execution in labs and in military environments.
• Interaction with academic research entities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Vice-president Technology, the candidate will:

• Make sure the company is at the forefront of RF design techniques.
• Demonstrate methodological and rigorous work ethic using RF lineup design, PA design, Rf filter design, design review, etc.
• Document the design process and provide critical judgement based on the details of the specifications.
• Supervise placement and routing of RF circuits.
• Work closely with designers, managers and subcontractors.
• Diagnose and resolve complex interaction problems between RF, digital and software issues.
• Develop design schedule by proposing innovative alternatives to the management team.

QUALIFICATIONS

In order to be selected, you will have to meet the following requirements:

• 10 years of experience performing RF Design.
• Proven experience regarding design, testing and tuning high efficiency and linear power amplifiers devices, Filter design, receiver design…
• Solid understanding of Impedance Control and Transmission Line Theory.
• Familiar with PCB layout and RF fabrication technologies.
• Experience using microwave simulation software (Microwave Office, ADS, HFSS).
• Knowledge of digital modulations such as OFDMA, WiMax, LTE, WiFi, Single Carrier QAM.
• Knowledge of linearization techniques such as DPD and Doherty topology is a plus.
• Able to work under minimal supervision.
• Experience with product transition from engineering to manufacturing.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
